After close collaboration with the Faculty Senate Executive Committee, the provost search committee’s composition reflects a focus on shared governance. Search committee members were nominated by governance groups for faculty, staff, and students. Tenure and term faculty were nominated through a process led by the Faculty Senate, while represented and administrative staff were nominated by union representatives and Staff Council. Students were nominated by the Undergraduate Student Senate, ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ Leadership Council, and Student Bar Association. The provost search committee will work closely with search firm Isaacson, Miller.Â
